    Worked two years as a Tech at Missouri State hospital. Currently work as an BHRN.
    Don’t fear your patients. Use the medications the doctor prescribes. Remember side effects are important to watch for. Learn the documentation well because it sucks doing a restraint and no one knows how to document properly. Don’t be afraid to use restraints appropriately. If you have any obvious faults they will get fleshed out by a patient fast when they are looking to make you angry. Become more familiar with street drugs. I hate being the only person on the floor that can identify drugs and drug habits. Always remember there is no cure for Schizophrenia or mental disorders. Just really good symptom control.
