I’m considering a DON position with an Assisted Living facility in the south metro. They’ve asked me to submit the salary I want. I’ve been searching for salary ranges for DONs in the area and I’m getting a huge range of salary ranges and I’m struggling to figure out how much to ask for without getting laughed at. I’ve got 4 years experience in long term care, and 3 of those years have been in management of assisted living. And I’m finding my current salary of $48,000 is way under what I deserve for the time I’m putting in where I’m currently at. Any help is appreciated!
